Research Interests
I am interested in spatial decision support systems (SDSS) and am especially interested in problems of developing and incorporating insights from location theory into such systems.
I am also interested in the development of human service systems in both developed and developing country contexts, particularly for health services, and in the spatial analysis of disease burdens. Modeling areas include location-allocation, small area demographics, spatial choice behavior, disease cluster analysis, spatial aggregation and disaggregation. I am working on integrating such methods into geographic information systems.
